Accounts Assistant
We are looking for an exceptional Accounts Assistant to join our team. This role would suit an experienced administration person who is driven to take on key responsibilities within the finance team. This is a part time role to suit work-life balance.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
Working closely with the Financial Controller to deliver accurate and timely internal reports and apartment owners’ monthly statements.
Daily bank reconciliations and recording receipts and payments via Xero.
Liaising with Front Office on cash received and maintaining the accounts receivable function.
On a monthly basis process income and record costs of apartment owners.
Maintaining the accounts payable, processing invoices and monthly payment of creditors.
Skills and Experience
Knowledge of office protocol and procedures with at least 3 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably in hospitality but not essential. Good written and verbal communication skills.
Competency in Microsoft Office
Knowledge of accounting software systems such as Xero
A solution focused approach to problem solving
Exceptional attention to detail
Ability to work independently
