Food and Beverage Supervisor

Purpose of Position
We’re on the lookout for Food and Beverage Supervisors who embody passion and a commitment to exceptional service.
We’re seeking knowledgeable hospitality team players who have a flair for food and wine.
In this role, you’ll be involved in the daily running of True South Dining Room, Bordeau Wine Lounge, room service, minibars and events.
As a supportive and collaborative leader and trainer, you’ll bring out the best in the team.
Your responsibilities will span across day and evening shifts, ensuring our service standards remain impeccable. From guiding and training our team members to managing reservations and overseeing food and beverage services, your role will be pivotal in creating outstanding dining experiences.

This is a permanent role and we’re recruiting to fill two positions.
Skills, Experience and Attributes
- If you’re a New Zealand resident/citizen, we’re looking for two years’ experience in food and beverage service, and it would be an advantage if this was in 5-star hotel fine dining restaurants
- If you need an employer sponsored work visa to legally work in New Zealand, you’ll need three years’ experience in food and beverage service, preferably in 5-star hotel fine dining restaurants
- Leadership capabilities essential
- Barista and cocktail skills
- Knowledge of NZ wines desirable
- Experience in multiple hotel food and beverage outlets such as events and in-room dining would be beneficial
- Experience with POS system
- Strong English language skills, written and verbal
- You must be available to work a variety of shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays
