We’re looking for a Painter to join our team at The Rees Hotel.

Painting tasks are mostly located internally or undercover, including hotel guest rooms and access areas, car parks, and walkways

This role is perfect for someone who’s hands-on, self-motivated, and multi-skilled.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle a variety of tasks including painting, plastering, gib stopping, and joinery and silicone work.

• Preparing surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and priming as required

• Applying paint, varnish, or other finishes to a variety of surfaces, including walls, ceilings, and trim

• Maintaining a safe, clean and organised work environment

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience with painting, using different tools, techniques and equipment.

• Physically fit, energetic, and ready to take on varied shifts, including weekends when required.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Full NZ driver’s license

• Ability to run multiple tasks and manage time effectively in a busy hotel environment
