As one of the first points of contact for the hotel, you will be customer service driven and enjoy exceeding guests' expectations. You will be proactive with a professional approach to guests. We're looking for outstanding communication skills and impeccable grooming standards.

Shift work involves a variety of shifts, including days, nights, weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities include:

• Promoting and booking guest activities and restaurant bookings, following up, handing over and logging all service issues during shift

• Developing and promoting exceptional working relationships with third party vendors such as activity operators, restaurants and transport providers

• Meeting and greeting all guests on arrival and departure, offering baggage assistance and performing prompt and courteous check-in escort procedures

• Driving hotel vehicles

• Providing guests with the services and facilities they require in a friendly, professional and timely manner

Skills, Experience and Attributes

• One year's front of house experience in hospitality or similar environment

• Knowledge of the local area, attractions and amenities would be helpful

• Full clean driver’s licence essential

• Passenger Endorsement Licence, or the ability to obtain one

• Strong written and spoken English skills

• Strong computer skills

• Must be physically fit

• Long term commitment to Queenstown
