Farhat joined The Rees as People and Culture Co-ordinator in January 2025 bringing over 9 years of experience in hospitality operations including accounts and human resources across hotels in Auckland, Queenstown and Wellington. Her goal is to specialise her career in human resources within the hospitality and tourism industry.

She is known for holding her values close to her heart and having a good sense of humour.

Her passion for hospitality is matched by her love of trying new recipes in the kitchen and she enjoys sharing the food she creates. She also loves travelling and water sports.
