Purpose of Position
As a Food and Beverage Attendant, you’ll work alongside passionate food and wine stars and have the desire to expand your knowledge of hospitality, food and wine. We're looking for people with loads of personality and charm, and the confidence and energy to interact with our guests to create unforgettable experiences. You’ll have a true enthusiasm for hospitality and enjoy exceeding guests' expectations.
Shifts will include both breakfast and dinner service.
These are permanent roles for the upcoming season and we’re recruiting for five positions.

Responsibilities include:
- Providing five-star food and beverage service across the hotel, working in our award-winning True South Dining Room, Bordeau Lounge Bar, conferences and events
- Assisting guests with food and wine selections, having a thorough understanding of menu offerings and wine pairing to make appropriate recommendations
- Interacting with guests, showing curiosity and interest in their stay in Queenstown
Skills, Experience and Attributes
- A minimum of two years' relevant experience
- Barista skills required
- Wine knowledge highly desirable
- Bar skills beneficial
- Relevant industry qualification/s (e.g. WSET) an advantage
- Passionate about food and wine
- Experience with POS system
- Loads of personality and confidence to charm our guests
- High standard of personal presentation and grooming
- Good initiative and be able to work without supervision
- Strong verbal and written English language skills
- Available to work a variety of shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays
Benefits and Rewards
- Full-time, permanent role
- Minimum of 30 hours per week guaranteed up to a maximum of 50 hours
- Minimum rate of pay $26.50 per hour up to a maximum of $28.00 per hour
