The Assistant Food and Beverage Manager position is a hands-on leadership role, supporting the Food and Beverage Manager to create outstanding dining experiences across our food and beverage outlets. You’ll lead from the floor to bring out the best in the team, training and enabling growth, driving operational standards and carrying out a variety of administrational responsibilities.

This is a permanent role and we’re recruiting to fill one position.
Skills, Experience and Attributes
· At least three years’ experience in food and beverage service, preferably in 5-star hotel fine dining restaurants
· Strong beverage knowledge, particularly wine, with WSET certification preferred
· Strong leadership and communication skills
· Calm, organised and efficient
· Resilient and able to work effectively under pressure
· Previous experience with stock management, ordering and invoice approval
· Proficiency in Point of Sale (POS) systems and restaurant management software
· Strong problem solving skills, with the ability to quickly resolve operational issues or guest complaints
· Experience in multiple hotel food and beverage outlets such as events and in-room dining would be beneficial
· You must be available to work a variety of shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays
